Known for its before and after school programs, the nonprofit Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada also offers a day-long Summer Program that combines the fun of “summer camp” with its mission for youth to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
Registration is available until July 4 for the Summer Program, available at all 13 Boys & Girls Clubs throughout Las Vegas, Henderson and North Las Vegas through Friday, Aug. 5. The Southern Highlands Clubhouse is located at 10900 Southern Highlands Pkwy.
Annual membership is required to attend and is priced affordably at $35 for youth (ages 6-12) and just $20 for teens (ages 13-18). The Summer Program is competitively priced at $80 per week for kids (ages 6-12), and teens can attend for free with an annual membership. Meals are included, both breakfast and lunch are served at select Clubs, and financial aid is available for qualifying families.

This year’s Summer Program is themed around “Road Trip Across America,” with activities and field trips designed for each age group to explore the culture, history, and language of various places around the country. Additional summer programming includes creative arts, health and fitness, leadership and education activities.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada summer hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
