Meraki Greek Grill has begun operations in its third Las Vegas location, with many more to come, serving up fresh Greek styles foods from melitzanosalata to baklava, to their amazing Nebraska Gold Filet Mignon Steak Kalamakia. Local icons such as Executive Chef Matt Hurley, who operates the Palazzos restaurant Cut by Wolfgang Puck, has commented on the freshness and consistency of the meals he eats at Meraki, making sure to mention he tops off his meals with Mama’s Rice Pudding.
Meraki is a partnership between Nikos Georgousis, who ran the kitchen of The Cosmopolitan’s Estiatorio Milos, and Jerry Goumroian, who has cooked at Bartolotta Ristorante di Mare, Restaurant Guy Savoy, RM Seafood, and off-Strip venues The Fat Greek and The Great Greek. Both are known for their authentic taste and freshly made meats.
Located just off Blue Diamond and Buffalo in the Mountains Edge Marketplace, it’s easily accessible to Vegas locals with three new locations in the works, including Centennial Center in Las Vegas and two in Henderson, at St. Rose and Spencer and Stephanie and American Pacific. The developing chain will be able to serve the Vegas community without the dreaded commute.
The developing southwest was long in need of a fresh and convenient greek restaurant, growing up in the southwest I remember my and my family’s nightly “What’s for dinner?” conversations, where we went back and forth between the only close pizza restaurant and the 24-hour Robertos (no hate to Robertos). It has been a really crazy experience getting to see this shabby suburban desert turn into a chic and bustling part of the city, with more food options than I am able to count.
