Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas celebrates ‘heroes,’ including first responders, military and educators

September 10, 2020 by 215staff

During the next two weekends in September, Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas will celebrate first responders, including members of the military, law enforcement and fire and rescue agencies, as well as Clark County and Nye County teachers and support staff.

Wet’n’Wild will honor those who protect and serve Southern Nevada Sept. 13-14 by offering free admission to all active fire, police, military members, plus doctors and nurses. To take advantage of this “Salute to Heroes” offer, a valid department identification must be shown at the ticket window. Friends and family tickets can be purchased for $19.99 per person at the ticketing window upon presenting a valid department ID. All those with valid a military ID will be admitted at no cost, including military dependents and veterans.

On Sept. 19 and 20, Wet’n’Wild will hold an “Educators Appreciation” weekend for teachers and support staff who work to positively impact the lives of Nevada’s children. All those with a valid employee identification from the Clark County and Nye County school districts will receive free entry into the park during these two days. CCSD and Nye County School District employees can also bring up to four family members for just $14.99 per person. To support teachers – who often provide their students with school supplies at their personal expense – there will be an accompanying school supply drive during that weekend. All guests who bring an unopened school supply will receive entry into the park for only $12.

Considered Nevada’s best collection of award-winning slides and water attractions, Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas plans to remain open through the end of September. It is located at 7055 S. Fort Apache Road, near the 215 Beltway and Sunset Road. For ticket information, visit www.wetnwildlasvegas.com.
