June 29, 2020 by 215staff

The Food truck Frenzy is on! Clark County Parks and Recreation along with Food Truck Frenzy presents our Community Center Parking Lot takeover which will start visiting parks valley-wide continuing Tuesday, June 30 at Sunset Park from 11 a.m. thru 2 p.m.

This week’s schedule will be as follows:

  • Tuesday, June 30 Walnut Recreation Center, 3075 North Walnut Road
  • Wednesday, July 1 Paradise Recreation Center, 4775 South Mcleod
  • Thursday, July 2 Mountain Crest Park, 4701 North Durango

Each location will be available for lunch from 11 a.m. thru 2 p.m. featuring 2-3 local food truck establishments (per location) offering a variety of custom cuisines daily. Admission and parking into the event are free and open to all ages. In accordance with the governor’s directive, customers and food truck workers will all be required to wear face coverings and follow social distancing guidelines.

Wearing a face covering is believed to be one of the most effective ways people can limit the spread of the coronavirus, largely because it makes it more difficult for someone who has the virus to transmit it to another person. People are also reminded to wash hands thoroughly and frequently, avoid large gatherings stay home when sick and stay at least six feet away from others when out in public to help limit the spread of the coronavirus.

Event sponsors include Clark County Parks and Recreation and Food Truck Frenzy LV.

Food Trucks interested in participating can contact Special Events, Brian Saliba at 702-455-8838 or visit Clark County Parks and Recreation website www.clarkcountynv.gov/parks.
