Even though the governor loosened restrictions for businesses open by today, Summerlin residents decided not to come out in droves to Downtown Summerlin like many of those who crowded the beaches in Florida and California. A quick visit to the open-air mall around noon found just a spattering of patrons walking the sidewalks and only a few of the retailers actually open.
Most of the stores in the mall are corporately owned and most likely not able to move so quickly to open up on only two days noticed. On a quick walk around the mall, we noticed only two retail stores that were open: Pandora and Sports Town USA. So, those looking for a Mother’s Day gift or a Golden Knight’s cap were in luck.
A few restaurants, including Wolfgang Puck Player’s Locker and Earl of Sandwich offered dine-in service. The mall’s website offers a list of those stores that are open. Click here to see it.
