On Saturday, you can get a haircut.
Gov. Steve Sisolak said on Thursday that certain small businesses could open on Saturday, a few days earlier than the May 15 original date of the Nevada stay-at-home plan extension.
Besides hair salons, restaurants can also open for dine-in, although in both cases there will be certain restrictions.
Barbershops and hair and nail salons can open by appointment only and face coverings are required. The governor also suggested that salons have partitions/walls between each work station.. If there are no partitions, then patrons can only use every other chair or ensure they are six feet apart.
When it comes to restaurants, in-person dining must be limited to no more than 50 percent of capacity. Take out and curb-side are still encouraged and employees must wear face masks and diners are encouraged to as well. Reservations should be required and the 6-foot spacing between tables is also required..
Large public gatherings of 10 or more are still prohibited. The governor encourages face mask still be worn in public and those vulnerable to the virus should continue stay-at-home measures.
Retail cannabis stores can also open for in-store sales, although the governor also suggested that curbside and in-home delivery are still the best options.
Open-air malls like Downtown Summerlin, The District and Town Square can also open, but indoor malls such as Meadows Mall and Galleria at Sunset must remain closed. All retail businesses must abide by the 50 percent occupancy rule.
