A Terrible Herbst convenience store with a car wash and gas pumps will headline a shopping center under construction at the corner of Rainbow Boulevard and Cactus Avenue.
Construction is under way on the 8.95 acre lot and is scheduled to be completed in 2020.
The center will also include a free-standing Don Tortaco mexican restaurant with a drive-through, a Meineke auto repair shop and Liquor World. A nail salon and smoke shop are also scheduled, with spots for between one and three more retailers.
Another phase has plans for a 3,300 square foot fast food restaurant and another 8,000 square feet of storefront retail that could be divided among multiple tenants.

How about a REAL US post office.
Just the same old crap. It would be so nice if we had a community more like Henderson or Summerlin. There are very few nice restaurants to meet someone for lunch. We have to travel outside the community.
We really want a Trader Joe’s in the area, the nearest locations are several miles away!
